Be Active! Volunteer! Join a Committee!

PTO meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 7 pm and are located in the Learning Center at Briargate School.

Finding New Ways to Support Our School

The Briargate PTO is continuing our efforts to be able to provide our students with MORE fun and educational activities throughout the year, and to also be able to purchase materials for the classrooms to help our teachers and students.  We are continuing to work with the Briargate staff to meet their needs and the student's needs.  We are also excited to be working with the other District 26 PTO's to brainstorm/share ideas and connect our resources for the better of all District 26 students.

We ask for your continued support of our fundraisers throughout the year as every little bit counts. Our goal this year is to continue our current programs for students, give back to the classrooms as much as we can, as well as find new ways to bulid a better learning community.

Briargate PTO Logo

  • The Briargate PTO is dedicated to the enrichment of our children’s educational experience. If your child attends Briargate School, you are automatically a PTO member. Fundraising allows for special projects, additional programs, and the purchase of additional equipment and materials used by the Briargate students and faculty. In the past, the PTO has purchased library books, audio and visual systems, reading programs, sponsored assemblies, put on many free or low-cost family fun nights and provided many materials for teachers to use in their classrooms. Our current PTO activities include:

    Calendar/Student Directory

The calendar provides parents and students with a collective view of school and PTO event dates, School, PTO and BOE member information, etc. We feature artwork done by Briargate students. The directory contains optional listings of addresses and phone numbers of Briargate families, as well as valuable information about the school, such as class lists and teachers. As a service to our Families with business we also have a section for them to advertise their business listing in our calendar. The calendar/directory is available for purchase during the first quarter of the school year and usually comes out in October.
